How to play Ancestral Lines: Family Tree Logic Puzzle
Each round in this family tree game starts with a blank (or almost blank) family tree. Your job is to fill in the blank nodes in the tree with the correct people, which are represented by their corresponding game pieces. Like any family tree, married couples are connected horizontally, while their children are connected to the pair vertically (below them).
At the bottom of your screen, you will find a set of clues that will help you determine where everyone goes. For example, a clue might read, “Jason is married to a doctor.” You would then look for the female doctor character, place her next to Jason, and move on to the next clue. Choose the wrong spot, and you lose one of your three hearts. Lose all three hearts, and it’s back to the beginning!
Key Strategies to Keep Those Hearts:
Tip number one: Always use the magnet and hint (lightbulb) power-ups when you’re stumped. These will give you a freebie, automatically placing someone in the correct spot, but use them sparingly.
Tip number two: Carefully and logically review every question. Sometimes, they reveal more than one character’s position.
Tip number three: Have fun! It’s a game, after all.
